AEGON TENNIS TEAMS 2017

This document shows the proposed AEGON Teams for 2017. There are twelve Junior Teams and two Adult Teams. I have included the Adult Teams as some juniors are in the Teams. These Teams have been registered with Tennis Surrey including Captain’s details and player’s ratings but not actual player’s names.

Team selection was carried out by James and Owen and took notice of those players that indicated they were not available to play this year. So, there is an assumption that the players that have been selected are available. Thank you to those Captains that have already confirmed that they are happy to captain their teams. There are one or two Captaincy still to be confirmed which James and Owen are following up on. I will be updating our AEGON Captain’s User Guide to bring it up to date reflecting on last year’s experiences. Also, the LTA will produce their own Guide and Handbook.

For all players selected please look at the match dates to ensure that you have no major availability issue playing for your team. Once the fixture lists come out, I will update the document with the match venue details i.e. Home or Away.

REIGATE LTC JUNIOR CALENDAR 2017

This document shows the Junior Events for this year. It basically follows the same pattern as last year.

JUNIOR VOLUNTEERS for 2017

As can been seen from the Junior Calendar, Friday Junior Tennis Evening will be starting on 31st March. To help us prepare for this start, I need to know which Junior Volunteers from last year are willing to volunteer their services again this year. So please let me know whether they are or are not available this year.

Also, if there are any potential new volunteers then please let me know. Most of our volunteers do this as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Regardless of whether potential volunteers are doing D of E or not, if they are aged 13 and above and are interested in volunteering then please let me know.

SURREY WINTER LITTLE LEAGUES 2016/17

The momentum of winning all their matches last year continues as all our teams (bar one) that played in January won their matches. The exception was unavoidable as two of our teams had to play each other. So congratulations to all the players, captains and parents. The results were:
